The largest user of our services, this includes goods inward, warehousing, order fulfilment, picking, packing, eCommerce and transport/distribution.

Our customers love the speed, standard of service and cost of the facilities we provide. In fact a recent well known3PL customer found we were both the cheapest and provided the best product solution! Temporary warehouses and storage facilities can be built to a variety of designs, sizes and specifications and can include integrated loading canopies and links/tunnels to other buildings. The popular aluminium framed structures provide a quickly constructed logistics facility but if you need a large (wider and/or taller) single span building, or a better working environment, or you are in a very windy location, you’ll need our steel buildings. Our Group companies, Big Box Intralogistics and Big Box Automation, are experts at fitting out and equipping the logistics sector, so together we offer a complete turnkey solution even with robotic automation.

Our buildings are ideal for manufacturing companies as they can be quickly adapted and extended to cope for peaks in demand and cope with sales growth.

Production facilities usually need higher-end buildings; a new factory or extension, machine and fabrication shops, assembly areas, production lines etc. All these functions can benefit from an insulated hard-wearing all-steel building, or a temporary building with a PVC roof if the need is immediate or basic. Steel frame buildings can be large enough to accommodate huge machinery, even overhead conveyors and crane gantries.

Most automotive sites have spare hard standing for our buildings to sit on. They become a cost effective way to expand workshop, valeting and sales areas.

Facilities such as basic storage, valeting areas and workshops are ideal applications for temporary buildings, although longer term installations may benefit from our all steel building. This is especially true when you take into account security and, if customer-facing, the aesthetic perspective of a semi permanent building. We can supply workshops large enough for surface-mounted ramps, pits and hoists which can accommodate the largest commercial vehicles, even tipper trailers. No matter what the size of vehicle our buildings give ample space to work on, in and over them. We also offer high-end customer facilities such as showrooms and service centres for dealers and specialists. These are essentially the same structure type with more glass, windows, doors, skylights etc, often as a bespoke design and can include add-on workshops and canopies.

Retailers, such as Builders Merchants and those who have bulky or large items to display will see our buildings are the answer.

A wide range of possibilities and opportunities exist across the retail and wholesale sectors including, but not limited to, Building Supplies, Garden Centres and Leisure Retailers. This can be just a yard-covering canopy or high quality warehouse facilities, with racking and customer retail-grade facilities for bulk products. Operators in the Leisure Retail market, selling things like camping equipment or even caravans, can benefit from covered display and storage facilities, We can also look after internal and external fit-out, for example weatherproof racking for stock such as pre-bagged materials.

Our buildings provide a cost effective and compliant solution for waste storage and processing of waste.

This sector finds temporary buildings highly useful. These can be aluminium framed structures for speed of deployment or steel-framed if a larger unit is needed. Very often a simple two or three-sided canopy will suffice and we can also build on or around materials bays. However, where a more specialised facility is needed, e.g. to deal with noxious fumes, odours or noise pollution, an insulated all-steel building can work best. We can fit ventilation, extraction, monitoring and alarm systems if required.

Bulk storage is a typical requirement for a Port; our steel frame buildings can be as large as needed and fit to an existing hardstanding surface for speed and cost-effectiveness.

There is quite a difference in project size and mix in this sector. From massive hangars and quayside covered bulk storage, even incorporating crane gantries, to more standard-sized warehouses and conveyors andsmaller workshops. In some cases end customer-grade facilities such as customs areas and secure holding bays are needed. Our buildings can have a major role to play, due to their lower cost, speed and ease of installation. Temporary building solutions are ideal for the smaller and faster response needs. Our steel-framed buildings, with as much or as little PVC used for walls and roofs as required, are a better longer term, larger or harsh weather location alternative. In these cases a large steel frame building with all PVC covers can be the cheapest and best solution. It can easily scale up and provide the strength necessary for such windy locations as harbours and airports. And we offer marshalling, queue management and covered transit solutions for customers and the general public at airports for example.
